My PC Build
Yes, it’s powerful AF.
Right after my poodle, this PC build is my personal pride and joy. I chickened out a few years ago when I first had the idea to build a PC. I was convinced that I’d give up part-way through and be left with a bunch of random PC parts. Well, it turns out that I just needed to give it a try. Fortunately, everything turned out fabulous! If you’re on the fence about building your own PC, consider this to be your sign. Oh, and YouTube is your lifeline.

Why is it so beefy?
Full disclosure—I’m a unity developer, 3d modeler, and spend a lot of time dabbling in adobe creative suite. I needed a PC that could comfortably handle having any two of these programs open simultaneously. Before this build, I did everything on my MacBook Pro, which has the Apple M3 Pro Chip. While my Mac wasn’t completely horrible at multi-tasking, I needed something that I could have more control over should I ever have a need to upgrade my personal computer’s performance. Building this PC was honestly the best investment.
…and of course I vlogged the experience.
In hindsight, I probably could’ve gotten the full build complete in one day if I wasn’t also recording the entire process. but for the sake of social media, I did in fact record the process! and you know what? I couldn’t be more proud of myself every time I look back at what I’ve accomplished. while I’ve since changed some stuff post-Vlog, this is still a decent look into what it took to build my pc.
